These are areas many traders watch, not guaranteed support or resistance. The 50% level is not a true Fibonacci ratio but is included by convention.

A Fibonacci retracement marks where price might pause or reverse during a pullback, using ratios from the Fibonacci sequence — 23.6%, 38.2%, 50%, 61.8%, and 78.6% of a prior move. They are areas many traders watch, not guaranteed support or resistance.
Take the move's range (high − low). In an uptrend each retracement level = high − range × ratio; in a downtrend, low + range × ratio. Extension levels (127.2%, 161.8%, 261.8%) project beyond the move for targets. The 50% level isn't a true Fibonacci ratio but is included by convention.
No — 50% is not from the Fibonacci sequence, but traders include it because markets often retrace about half of a move. The calculator shows it alongside the true ratios so your levels match standard charting tools.
