- Risk amount = balance × risk%
- Quantity = risk amount ÷ |entry − stop|
- Notional = quantity × entry · Margin = notional ÷ leverage
- Net PnL = direction × (exit − entry) × qty − fees(in + out)
- Liq (long) ≈ entry × (1 − 1/lev + maint% + fee%)
- Safe lev = 1 ÷ (stop% + buffer% + maint% + fee%)
- Breakeven win rate = 1 ÷ (1 + R:R)

Why is net PnL lower than gross PnL?
Taker fees are charged on the notional value at entry and at exit. On a leveraged position the notional is large relative to your margin, so fees eat a real share of the result — this calculator shows both numbers.
What is ROI on margin vs ROI on account?
ROI on margin divides net PnL by the margin you posted — the leveraged return. ROI on account divides by your full balance — the number that actually compounds. Judging trades by ROI on margin alone is how leverage flatters bad risk.
Is this exact for Binance, Bybit, OKX, or Bitget?
No calculator outside the exchange can be exact. Liquidation and margin depend on the venue's maintenance-margin tiers, margin mode, funding, fees, and any position changes. These figures are close estimates for isolated USDT linear perpetuals — always confirm on your exchange before trading.
