A tool that computes the numbers you should know before entering a leveraged trade: position size from your risk budget, estimated liquidation price, profit and loss after fees, risk/reward ratio, and a leverage level that keeps liquidation safely beyond your stop loss.
Decide the dollar amount you are willing to lose (account balance × risk %), then divide it by the distance between entry and stop loss. That gives the quantity; quantity × entry price is your notional position, and notional ÷ leverage is the margin you must post.
For an isolated USDT linear perpetual, the estimate moves the entry price against you by roughly 1/leverage, adjusted for maintenance margin and fees. Long: entry × (1 − 1/leverage + maintenance% + fee%). Exact values differ by exchange and account settings.
No calculator outside the exchange can be exact. Liquidation and margin depend on the venue's maintenance-margin tiers, margin mode, funding, fees, and any position changes. These figures are close estimates for isolated USDT linear perpetuals — always confirm on your exchange before trading.
One where your estimated liquidation price sits beyond your stop loss with a buffer — so the stop, not the exchange, closes your losers. This calculator solves for that level from your stop distance, maintenance margin, fees, and a configurable buffer.
